Our founder Mr. Alan Yip went through much hardship in his early life and did not fare well in school. Through perseverance, he won a Fulbright scholarship in Hong Kong, graduated first-class (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Indiana, USA and is now a thriving entrepreneur in Singapore. It all begun with a self-belief, planted by his mother’s unwavering acceptance and belief in him.

At the heart of Mind Edge, our expansion is dependent upon finding and nurturing people who are already pre-disposed to share our core values. We do our utmost to attract and retain these people. Our staffs are our most valuable assets.
Beyond selective recruitment, we consistently embed these values in our culture, from induction, training, appraisal, reward system, regular communication sessions to company events; in fun or seriousness. The value system is visually splashed out in our office walls, website, company handbook and more. This set of values is also ingrained in our teaching materials for students and parents as they form an integral basis for learning.
